Town of Queenstown lanning Commission Minutes JulY 5, 2017 A regular meeting of the Queenstown Planning Commission was held on July 5,2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Office. Present were Planning Commission members, Willie Comegys, Al Hardee, Phil Snyder, and Betty White. Guests present were Peter Johnston, Town Planner, Hogie schuster, Town commissioner, Mike and Pat Bowell .and John and Eugenie Fitzgerald.
Al Hardee, Chairman, brought the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Guests' Time: no guest speakers.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Town Commissioners Updates -: Mr' Schuster reported that the Town Budget
had been Passed. No other news
OLD BUSINESS
1.. Medical Cannabis Discussion: Al Hardee reported that the Planning Commission held a workshop on June 20, 2017 to discuss this matter' Mr. Johnston presented the Planning Commission'srecommendationsbasedontheworkshop'Afterreviewanddiscussionitwas moved by Phil Snyder, seconded by Al Hardee, ThattheRecommendedAmendmentsToQueenstownzoningcodeMedical- Cannabis dated July 5, 201?, be approved and referred to the Town Commissioners for
final approval.
This motion was carried unanimously Mr. Hardee distributed to the Planning Commissioners Maryland Medical Cannabis Commisiion (MMCC) Application for Medicai Cannabis Dispensary License ' Publication Release Date: septembei 28,2015; Revised october7,2015. He asked thatthe commissioners read the document prior to the next meetlng

has no interest in building any restaurant on the property other than maybe a "tiki" bar or the like near the cunent boathoule. This would require additional growth allocation and rezoning by the Town. No formal actions were taken.
