Town of Queenstown Planning Commission Minutes June7,2O17 A regular meeting of the Queenstown Planning Commission was held on June 7,2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Office. Present were Planning Commission members, Al Hardee, Matt Reno, Phil Snyder, and Betty White. Guests present were Peter Johnston, Town Planner, Hogie Schuster and George Plumbo, Town Commissioners, Mike and Pat Bowell .and John FiEgerald.

Al Hardee, Chairman, brought the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Guests'Time: no guest speakers.

NEW BUSINESS

Town Commissioners Updates -: none

OLD BUSINESS

1. Updated Gommunity Plan: Peter Johnston noted that no further comments have been

received since the last meeting. He indicated that all previous comments deemed appropriate have been incorporated into the latest Draft Community Plan. After detailed discussion, it was moved by Phil Snyder, seconded by Al Hardee That the Planning Commission forward to the Town Commissioners the final Draft Gommunity Plan vercion May 9,2017, with the recommendation for approval.

This motion was carried unanimously.

2.. Medical Gannabis Discussion: Al Hardee distributed to the Planning Commissioners for thoughts and comments an outline of medical cannabis considerations including growing, processing, dispensing and recreational use. lt was decided that a Planning Commission workshop-on tfris subject will be held on June 20, 2017 atthe Town Office. The Chairman will instruct the Town Clerk to post notice of the workshop on the Town website.

Pending Requests and Permits -no updates

4. Annual Report - has been prepared and signed by the Chairman.

OTHER

1, The Minutes of the Planning Commission meetings held April 13, 2O17 and May 3, 2017 were reviewed and aPProved.

2. Al Hardee initiated a discussion regarding ways to assist existing or potential commercial

businesses to come to Queenstown. nlahy comments and/or ideas were discussed after which it was moved by Al Hardee, seconded by Matt Reno That Al Hardee will request a meeting with the principals and/or representatives of the Brick Gompanies to ascertain their plans, if any, to further develop Queenstown Harbor Golf, and io advise that the Town is eager to do what is necessary to help and expedite any new plans in the making..

This motion was carried.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8.15 p.m.
