QUEENSTOWN PLANNING COMMISSION

SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

December 16.2020 A special meeting of the Queenstown Planning Commission was held on Wednesday, December 16,2020 at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of reviewing proposed design guidelines for development of the Wheatland's property, and the scheduling of a public hearing on the Master Development Plan and Design Guidelines.

Members present and participating viaZoomwere Philip Snyder, Matt Reno, Mike Bowell and Paul Cain. Also participating were Barry Waterman and Town Planner Peter Johnston.

Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Phil Snyder.

Peter Johnston informed the members to be prepared to answer questions at the hearing. Town needs to put the design guidelines on the website to make it readily available to the public. Mr.

Johnston noted that there are a lot of provisions that apply from the zoning code, but are not addressed in the guidelines.

Mike Bowell motioned to schedule the public hearing for Wednesday, January 13,2021 at7:00 p.m. Motion seconded by Matt Reno. Vote: 4-aye,O-nay Peter Johnston suggested a format for the public hearing:

o Have Barry Waterman make a presentation of the project and Joe Stevens give history of the property and project and highlight all actions taken thus far, including when the Critical Area Commission reviewed the project, Comp Plan compliance, annexation of property, etc.

o Show the process this project has gone through to date o Hold the Public Hearing open if needed to allow comments; then take all comments and make any changes that are needed.

o Once Planning Commission gives approval, it will go to the Town Commissioners.

There being no further business before the Commission, Mike Bowell motioned to adjourn the meeting at6:53 p.m. Motion seconded by Paul Cain. Vote; 4-aye,0-nay Respectfu lly submitted, Town Manager
