Queenstown Planning Commission November 6, 2024 Present: Matt Reno, Geneva Thrasher-Rieu, Paul Cain, Mike Bowell, Town Planner Peter Johnston and Town Manager Amy Moore Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m.
Appointment of acting Chairman, Vice Chair: Due to the resignation of Chairman Philip Snyder, Matt Reno will temporarily serve as Chair, Geneva Thrasher-Rieu will serve as Vice-Chair pending recruitment of a replacement member.
Guests:
Kevin Shearon and John Anderes, Queenstown Harbor: prelim site plan review for events building. refined plans, reconfigured parking lot, expanding lane to 22 foot wide, storm water management/infiltration along lane, impervious cover will be plants to provide buffer: Mike Bowell motion to grant preliminary site plan approval, final subject to addressing consulting engineer and critical area components; Paul Cain second, no oppose.
Public Comment: None Town Manager Updates:
-Board of Appeals approved special exception for cannabis growth -Commissioner's exploring Getty building for purchase -Commissioner's approved contract for replacing sewer lane on Old Wharf Lane, using ARPA funds and reserve funds -Republic should be delivering trash bins, no delivery date -Tree lighting event Saturday, December 7 at 5 pm, ladies auxiliary cookie walk, Santa, live music -Commissioners only one meeting each in November (20th) and December (llth) - Christmas

Old Business l. Conidor Management Plan - no update
2. Housing Expansion andAffordability Act, HB 538: waiting on two other house bills
New Business:
l. Daisy Miller, subdivision application: no objections to removal of property line, administrative request
2. plan review/requirements: Paul Cain requested better vetting of guests proposing projects,
should have clear plan before presenting to Commission
3. Paul Cain motion to approve minutes October2,2024,, Mike Bowell second, no oppose.
