The Planning Commission meeting on November 2, 2022 approved several items brought by guests: a site plan for a proposed Par 3 (intermediate play) hole, a VFD subdivision plat (with authorization for the chair to sign once other certifications are complete) and a fee-in-lieu for forest conservation, and the Wheatland’s preliminary Phase I plan dated 10/1/2022. Town Manager updates listed upcoming meetings and events including a COG meeting on Nov 9, commissioner meetings in November/December, a holiday party, tree lighting, cookie walk, house-decorating contest, and noted the successful Halloween parade. Old business notes included no movement on the wellness item until Ms. Boone presents, Wheatland’s discussed under guests, and that the boat landing/parking item can be removed because a redecking contract was awarded and remaining tasks will be bid; several other listed items (commercial/oversized parking, road design standards, Queenstown Corridor Management Plan) had no decisions recorded. The October 5, 2022 minutes were approved and the meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm.
