Queenstown Planning Commission Minutes October 5,2022 Present: Mike Bowell, Matt Reno, Amy Moore, Geneva Rieu, and Peter Johnston Matt Reno called meeting to order 7:01 pm No guests No Public Comment Town Manager Updates:
-Dudley Property, someone interested in developing property, meeting with Peter Dudley on l0ll2 at 5:30 pm, at least 2 PC members should be in attendance. Matt Reno can attend, Mike Bowell available, Geneva Rieu maybe -Notice of Award- Custom Boarders and Edging, dock work;
-Water tower project out to bid, due Nov 10, waiver issued by USDA for Buy American Build America only for 6 months, -MDE reporting towns plan for new water tower not congruent with County water/sewer plan, need to go to County for amendment at their next meeting January 2023 -Golf course request for LDA designation, all documentation needed for all growth allocations as if new request.
-Request for information for adding 5th apartment to multi dwelling home on Maryland Ave, no communication from owner since initial request -Community yard sale l0/8 -Friday last day to file for commissioners' election, election lllT Old Business:
-Discussion of 7109 Main St parking proposals, massage services being permitted, town can permit but with conditions, request Tiffani Boone's presence at PC meeting to provide more info on scope of services/business plan -Wheatland's: Barry has one highway commercial lot under contract, needs info on infrastructure plan (Royal Farms)(water and sewer, enough for phase 1, issue is pressure), consider public
works agreement for phase I instead of DRRA at this time. It was suggested to hold a joint meeting with the Commissioners and have Bob Rauch, Town Engineer, update everyone on current and future water and sewer capacity. Ms. Moore will get meeting scheduled.
-Commercial Parking: revised draft should go to commissioner's -Road Design Standards: PC members should do research prior to next meeting -Corridor Management Plan: need to flush out landscaping, signage current standards with recommendations to revise zoning code on overlay district; suggestion to Commissioner's to l0lll move forward utilizing Peter's time/expertise, Next commissioners meeting at 4 pm
