Queenstown Planning Commission September 6, 2023 Meeting called to order 7 pm Present in person: Paul Cain, Phil Snyder, Matt Reno, Mike Bowell and Geneva Thrasher-Rieu Virtual: Amy Moore and Peter Johnston Town Manager Updates:
-County reached out to notiff county zoning is no longer effective on Dudley property, for town purposes property has not been rezoned, Dudley needs zoning amendment.
-discussion of annexation agreement and plans for property -Hired new public works staff -Submitted three grants for new projects (Parks) -Getting estimates for small pier at boat landing -Additional firnds after planned dock upgrades, going to look at bids for new plumbing -Paving Wall street -Automated membrane cleaning at plant -Town entered into agreement with Comcast, work should begin in the next couple of months
-Engineering study for dredging of channel has begun, applied for additional funding, cognty will be including Queenstown in their proposals for federal funding -Lyndsay Ryan, Town Attorney, suggested review of cannabis ordnance; Peter review of addresses for licensed childcare for discussion of buffer zone Old Business:
