The Planning Commission met on September 6, 2023 with five members in person and two virtually. Town Manager updates included county notification that county zoning is no longer effective on the Dudley property (requiring a town zoning amendment and discussion of annexation), hiring a new public works staffer, three parks grant submissions, estimates for a small pier at the boat landing and plumbing bids after dock upgrades, paving Wall Street, automated membrane cleaning at the plant, a new Comcast agreement to begin soon, and an engineering study and funding efforts for dredging the channel; the Town Attorney also suggested a review of the cannabis ordinance and a review of childcare license addresses for buffer-zone discussion. Old business noted ongoing work on Wheatlands DRRA and no updates to the Corridor Management Plan; the minutes for June 7 and August 2 were approved and the meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.

Queenstown Planning Commission September 6, 2023 Meeting called to order 7 pm Present in person: Paul Cain, Phil Snyder, Matt Reno, Mike Bowell and Geneva Thrasher-Rieu Virtual: Amy Moore and Peter Johnston Town Manager Updates: -County reached out to notiff county zoning is no longer effective on Dudley property, for town purposes property has not been rezoned, Dudley needs zoning amendment. -discussion of annexation agreement and plans for property -Hired new public works staff -Submitted three grants for new projects (Parks) -Getting estimates for small pier at boat landing -Additional firnds after planned dock upgrades, going to look at bids for new plumbing -Paving Wall street -Automated membrane cleaning at plant -Town entered into agreement with Comcast, work should begin in the next couple of months -Engineering study for dredging of channel has begun, applied for additional funding, cognty will be including Queenstown in their proposals for federal funding -Lyndsay Ryan, Town Attorney, suggested review of cannabis ordnance; Peter review of addresses for licensed childcare for discussion of buffer zone Old Business: -Wheatlands: commissioners continue to work on DRRA -Corridor Management Plan: no updates New Business: Minutes: June 7 ,2023: Paul Cain motion to accept as written, Mafi Reno second, no discussion, no oppose.
