The Queenstown Planning Commission met June 4, 2025, with members Geneva Thrasher-Rieu, Mike Bowell, Paul Cain, Sue Donaldson, and Town Planner Peter Johnston. The Commission granted final subdivision approval for the Clark/Nicholson subdivision (motion by Paul Cain, second Sue Donaldson; vote 3-0 with Mike Bowell abstaining) after the applicant submitted revisions including a 20 ft setback and a 10 ft parking setback. The Commission granted provisional final subdivision approval for the Snyder parcel subject to final staff review and the Town’s acquisition of Parcel 2; Geneva Thrasher-Rieu moved approval, Paul Cain seconded, and Peter Johnston requested a PDF of the plat. Town Manager updates noted the water tank and infrastructure bid due date was extended to Friday, June 27; discussion of a possible event to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary next year; and that the budget was drafted with a public hearing set for Wednesday, June 18 at 6 p.m., with no increase to real or personal property tax rates and an 8% increase to water/sewer rates (previously approved by ordinance in 2022). Nicholson/Clark: Planning Commission had previously reviewed and suggested a 20 ft. setback, with a l0 ft parking setback to be flush with current building and to provide some additional parking as well. Revisions made by applicant and submitted for final review. Paul Cain motioned to grant final subdivision approval for Clark/Nicholson subdivision, Sue Donaldson 2nd, Vote 3-0, Mike Bowell abstained. 2. Snyder: Applicant attended multiple meetings with Commissioners to modiff plan, town to pnrchase entire 2nd proposed parcel, approximately 17,000+/- sq. ft., applicants are now renovating/restoring the home on Lot l; Geneva Thrasher-Rieu motioned to grant provisional final subdivision approval subject to final review by staffand addressing any coilrments or corrections, approval is also contingent upon Town of Queenstown acquiring parcel 2,Paul Cain second; no oppose, no discussion; Peter Johnston requested PDF version of plat. Public Comment: None Town Manager update: o Bid due date on water tank and infrastructure project has been extended 2 weeks to Friday, June 27th. o Looking at possible event to commernorate America's 250ft anniversary next year.
