The Queenstown Planning Commission met June 1, 2022 with Chair Phil Snyder and six members/staff present. BPAC representative Bob Zillig gave an annual parks/connectivity report and noted the County will seek consultant proposals for a Trails Master Plan. The Commission granted preliminary subdivision/plat approval for Wheatland’s property (motion by Matt Reno, seconded by Mike Bowell, no opposition); the DRRA had not been submitted because of a division of ownership and commissioners are still working on it. Public commenters raised concerns about the nearby Kevin Dey property (tree removal, flooding, privacy). Town Manager updates included Lacrosse Homes parking relief ideas (possible tot lot and fence), code updates to 2021 standards, and boat-storage rules; there was no update on the town dock. Other business: boat landing/parking improvements (ribbon cutting and suggestion for a small floating dock), the town did not receive the FY2023 Community Parks and Playground grant, and Peter Johnston will draft an outline for a Corridor Plan; minutes from April 6 and May 4 were approved and the meeting adjourned at 8:41 pm.
