Queenstown Planning Commission May 7,2025 Meeting called to Order 6:00 pm Present: Matt Reno, Peter Johnston, Paul Cain, Mike Bowell, Geneva Thrasher-Rieu, and Amy Moore Present viaZoom: Sue Donaldson Guests:
-Sue Donaldson (commission vacancy). Menrbers discussed the position with Ms. Donaldson and reviewed resume provided.

2. April meeting, vertical lift aircraft, spoke with Stephanie at County planning, county is not
changing their code currently, may amend in the future
3. New water tank and infrastructure has been put out to bid, pre-bid meeting s/ls,bids due first
week of June
4. Commissioners approved proposal for redesign services for breakw ater/dredge material,
covers design and permits to improve protection; grant from DNR to complete actual dredging has been prelim approved (1.5 million)
5. Ms. Moore met with Tom Leigh, Alliance for Chesapeake Buy, free TA for towns interested in
protecting properly, interested in funding;
6. New signage on channel not accurately labeled
7. Discussion of town center identified as resi dentiallcommercial
