The minutes record a Planning Commission meeting listing attendees and noting there was no public comment. The town received $685,000 in ARPA funds and allocated them to a Wall St water main replacement and an Old Wharf Lane sewer line. The Commission created a five-member safety task force to address speeding (first meeting 5/13 at 5:00 PM); the sheriff allocated funding for overtime policing (three 4-hour shifts per week) and the task force will submit timelines, with discussion of increased traffic on 301. Other business included planner budget projections, Ms. Moore looking into parking/zoning for trailers and oversized vehicles, an update that Wheatland’s DRRA work continues and water/sewer work is halted until residential development after Royal Farms pulled out, Peter will look for a Corridor Management Plan example, approval of permit review, a finding that Queenstown Golf Course is consistent with the Blue Heron Rookery QA CA Programs condition, acceptance of the annual report to be forwarded to the MD Dept. of Planning, approval of the April minutes, and adjournment at 8:14 PM.
