QUEENSTOWN PLANNING COMMISSION

MINUTES

April 7,2021

7:00 P.M. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER

IN ATTENDANCE: Geneva Rieu; Peter Johnston; Mike Bowell; Aaron Horney; Paul Cain; and Matt Reno GUESTS: None PUBLIC COMMENT: None

TOWN MANAGER UPDATES

1. Commissioner's made changes boat slip rental agreement, Harbor Master position, list of

duties being developed; Changes: should a renter no longer own a boat, can keep slip for 30 days; renter may permit their agreement to another individual with permission for 30 days; if slip is unoccupied for 9 months or more of an agreement, auto terminate; half rent be paid by January 3 l, remainder paid by May 31; maintaining wait list 2.

Dredging permit received from Army Corps of Engineers; approval from DNR on dock improvements; MP/bids will be put out for work 3.

Commissioners Resolution passed for boat ramp fee of $25 4.

Commissioner's approved annual report, submitted to Dept of Planning 5.

Next Commissioner's meeting: plan to adopt new building codes 6.

Town sending out letters for property/lawn maintenance violations

OLD BUSINESS:

l. Trails Master Plan: Matt and Peter to review comments on plan to finalize "final draft"

2. Wheatland's - Waterman Family Limited Partnership: Commissioner's approved

amendment to master plan at last meeting, next step is to submit subdivision, likely by fall; still looking for contributions from Barry Waterman for water tower; reminder of town access

3. Sorenson - Site and Water Quality Management Plan - lI2 Charity Lane: storm water

management is connected/completed; town welcome to come look at property;

4. Boat landing and parking area improvements: permit $25; improvements will not be put

out for bid, town will purchase supplies and pay for work, millings from docks will be moved to ramp lot; 8 folks donated for traffic stops

5. Community Parks and Playground Program Grant Funding FY202I: no update

NEW BUSINESS

1. Zoning Ordinance and Critical Area Amendments: review and discuss at next meeting;

does not require public hearing for planning commission, Commissioner's will need to have public hearing [AmendedJ Motion to co.nditionally approve Dudley subdivision considering Critical Area impact: motion 2'o, no oppose (Peter will research Critical Area)
