Peter Grimm: Haven Ministries; discussion of current status, does not require public hearingl no
final MOU; Peter Johnston suggested text amendments to zoning ordinance to require a public
hearing; Matt Reno motioned the Planning Commission make a recommendation to
Commissioners to permit shelter facilities in association with religious orgarization as a special
exception, Paul Cain second, all in favor, no oppose.
Kevin Shearon: Reviewed changes made per Peter Johnstons comments. Item l, sidewalk: no
issue with proposed changes Item 2, gatter pan: no issue with proposed changes Item 3, radius

Jim Knight - happy about the recommendation to be sent to Commissioners to amend zoning
ordinance as will allow public comment on Haven Ministries; asked about funds to QVFD from
Wheatland's and was advised that it would be specified in the DRRA.
Town Manager Update:
Commissioners agreed to amend the DRRA as written, took recommendations from PC.
MDE: issued permit to put small pier at boat ramp, contractor lined up, to be completed in the
spring.
Golf Course approached about potentially running charters from dock on the Lady Helen, PC
would need to recommend zoning amendment. More information to come when golf course is
ready.
Old Business:
Corridor Management Plan: no contact with owner of service station

Recreational Cannabis regulations: commissioners requesting PC reconsider permitted locations,
recommendations for zoning; suggest any interested parties come to Planning Commission with
more information and business plans and the town do research on anticipated impact on the
community/infr astrucfure.

discussion, no oppose
There being no further business before the Commision, Geneva Thrasher-Rieu motioned to
adjourn the meeting at 8:06 pm, Mike Bowell second, no oppose.
