These are the minutes of the Queenstown Planning Commission meeting on February 1, 2023. Commissioners and staff reported updates: a guest, Carol Purdue, described the need for a creative assisted living facility and suggested researching “cottage cluster” concepts; dock work is nearly complete with a walkthrough scheduled for 2/3 and some ladder/bench issues to address; staff met with the Outlets about the town taking over certain water and sewer mains to allow connection of the Waterman property and requested more information. The town reported the water storage tank project is moving forward with documents resubmitted to USDA, an application to MDE for funding to inventory water lines to look for lead lines, contact with SHA about extending a sidewalk from Harbor Lane to the golf course (Queenstown Harbor will not maintain it), and that estimates are being obtained to drive pilings at the boat ramp for a possible pier or ramp. Old business items noted: Wheatland’s phase I pWA is with an attorney, commissioners are reviewing Road Design Standards, the Queenstown Corridor Management Plan is pending, and a subdivision application has outstanding legal issues. In new business the January 4, 2023 minutes were approved and commissioners discussed increased traffic on Route 301 and accidents at the Del Rhodes intersection; the meeting adjourned at 7:53 p.m.

Meeting called to order at7 pm. Guests: o Carol Purdue: Occupational Therapist; discussion ofneed for creative assisted living facility; suggested researching Cottage Cluster concepts.
