Minutes of the Queenstown Planning Commission meeting held January 8, 2025 (called to order at 6:03 pm, adjourned 6:25 pm). Attendees included Acting Chairman Matt Reno, members Geneva Thrasher-Rieu, Paul Cain, Mike Bowell, and Town Planner Peter Johnston; there were no guests or public comments. The commission voted to recommend to the Town Commissioners adoption of amendments related to HEAA, HB 538, Critical Area amendments, and HB 233/58268 (motion Mike Bowell, second Paul Cain, unanimous). They also recommended adoption of the QA County Comprehensive Water/Sewer plan with modifications to update dates, include Wheatlands and the Golf Course, and correct typographical errors (motion Mike Bowell, second Paul Cain); the November 6, 2024 minutes were approved (motion Paul Cain, second Mike Bowell). Follow-up items assigned to Matt Reno (to contact Amy Moore) concern snow/side-road and sidewalk clearing, preparation of a proclamation for Phil Snyder, and recruitment for vacancies.

Old Business:
1. QT Corridor management plan: no updates
2. HEAA, HB 538 and Critical Area amendments, HB 233 and 58268: Recommending
Amendments to Commissioners for review and adoption (motion by Mike Bowell, Paul Cain
2nd, no discussion, no oppose)
New Business:
1. QA County Comprehensive Water/sewer plan update: comments to revise dates to be current
and include Wheatlands and Golf course; Recommendation to Commissioners for adoption with
modifications of typographical errors (Mike Bowell motion, Paul Cain 2nd, no discusiorr, ,ro
oppose)
2. Minutes- November 6,2024 - Paul Cain motion to approve, Mike Bowell 2nd,no oppose, no
discussion
3. Geneva Thrasher-Rieu inquired about expectations concerning road conditions on side roads
after snowstorm, sidewalks not cleared, Matt Reno will follow up with Amy Moore.
4. Matt Reno recommended that the Town Commissioners issue a proclamation for Mr. Phil
Snyder for his years of service, Matt Reno will follow up with Amy Moore.
5. Mike Bowell inquired about recruitment for vacancies. Matt Reno will follow up with Amy
Moore.
