The January 4, 2023 Queenstown Planning Commission meeting (Chair Phil Snyder; commissioners Mike Bowell, Geneva Rieu, Peter Johnston in person; Amy Moore and Paul Cain virtually) met at 7:00 p.m.; there were no guests or public comment. Town Manager updates clarified hunting: Wheatlands’ annexation had allowed hunting until a Planned Development petition was filed, and because that petition was filed and approved, hunting is no longer permitted at Wheatlands; the Dudley annexation contained no such clause so hunting was never permitted there and both owners were notified. The Commission granted conditional final approval for Wheatlands Phase 1 improvement plans (motion by Mike Bowell) pending review by Peter Johnston and authorized the chairman to approve upon final submission; other business included sending road design standard samples to Town Commissioners for feedback, agreement to explore the Queenstown Corridor Management Plan after a presentation, noting the 646 Del Rhodes Ave subdivision remains without new information after preliminary approval on 12/17, approval of the December 7, 2022 minutes, and adjournment at 7:14 p.m.
