The Queenstown Planning Commission met November 3, 2021 with six commissioners present and no public comments or guests. Town manager updates included a DNR-modified dredging grant increased to $100,000 with work expected late Nov/early Dec, Stable Solutions completing foam injection, pending dock repairs, Ordinance 21-07 hearing for recreational vehicles on Nov 17, hydrant flushing on Nov 18–19, complaints about large trucks cutting through Dudley Ave and planned outreach with the Sheriff’s office, and scheduled tree lighting and a Christmas decoration contest in December. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER In Attendance: Amy Moore, Phil Snyder, Mike Bowell, Geneva Rieu, Paul Cain, Peter Johnston GUESTS - none PUBLIC COMMENT - none TOWN MANAGER UPDATES - Dredging bids significantly higher than grant amount, contacted DNR, they modified grant to $100,000 to cover costs; late Nov/early Dec - Stable Solutions completing foam injection; dock repairs have not been put out to bid yet - Ordnance 2l-07 for recreational vehicles/equipment hearing Nov l7 - Hydrant flushing Nov l8/19 - Numerous complaints about large truck cutting through Dudley Ave; spoke with Sheriff Hoffman,letter from Sheriff s Dept to be mailed if we are able to get license plate info on vehicles driving through, flier developed to provide education - Tree lighting December 10 6-9 pm; Christmas Decoration contest, l0lllll2, sign up by l2l3 $5 entry fee, decorated by 9, pictures on FB, map will be provided at Tree Lighting OLD BUSINESS: 1.
