QUEENSTOWN PLANNTNG COMIISSTON

January 512022 7:00 p.m.

ATTENDANCE: Phil Snyder, Chair; Matt Reno, Vice-Chair; Geneva Rieu, Secretary; Mike Bowell, Paul Cain, and Amy Moore, Town Manager.

7:00 P.M. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER

ELECTION OF OFFICERS: Matt Reno motioned for Phil Snyder to remain chairman, Mike Bowell seconded; Paul Cain motioned for Matt Reno to be retained as Vice, Mike Bowell seconded; Matt Reno recommended Geneva Rieu as secretary, Paul seconded; no oppose GUESTS - None scheduled PUBLIC COMMENT - none

TOWI\ MANAGER UPDATES

- Critical Area Commission meeting ll5: to adopt ordnance - Dredging on slips to begin week of January 17 - Looking into solar for wastewater plant - Commissioner's adopted fence standards at Dec meeting - Amy moving to up stairs office - Will be posting for office clerk to work in front office with Aaron

OLD BUSINESS

1.

Wheatland's - Waterman Family Limited Partnership: motion to approve variance by Matt, seconded by Paul, no oppose; Peter will draft letter to notifu DNR of variance grant 2.

Boat landing and parking area improvements: see town manager updates 3.

Fence Standards: can be removed 4.

Community Parks and Playground Program Grant Funding FY2023: won't hear update until spring

NEW BUSINESS

1.

Water tower branding - for discussion: Matt motioned to have Commissioner's consider branding on new water tower, if agree, planning commission would be willing to assist with getting community involved.

2. Commercial & oversized vehicle parking: complaints from Queenstown Village

regarding tow trailer/commercial tow; current ordinance states no more than 12 hours;

Commissioner's requesting suggestions for revisions for commercial parking ordinance

3. Minutes - l2-01-2I: Matt Reno moved to accept minutes, Paul Cain seconded; no oppose
