March 31, 2026 The County Commissioners of Queen Anne’s County met this date pursuant to its last adjournment and there were present:

BUDGET WORK SESSION II:
The Board, along with Mr. Jeff Rank, Director, Mrs. Karen Rodgers, Budget Analyst, of Budget and Finance along with Mr. Todd Mohn, County Administrator and Mrs. Stephanie Jarrell, Executive Assistant to the County Commissioners and Administrator reviewed the proposed FY2027 Budget and met with the following departments:
Christine Jones, Board of Elections Kim Spence, Board of Elections Steve Chandlee, Director, Parks and Recreation James Miller, Recreation Manager, Recreation Linda Steiner, Manager, Airport Eric Beaufait, Manager, Golf Course Breanne Waters, Fiscal Administrator, Parks and Recreation James Wood, Public Landings Alan Quimby, Director, Department of Public Works Lee Edgar, Chief of Engineering Department of Public Works
Shane Moore, Chief of Roads Engineering, Department of Public Works Matt Lucas, Chief Sanitary Engineer, Department of Public Works Ms. Kelly Baker, Chief of Animal Services
TOWER GARDENS LETTER OF SUPPORT:
On a motion made by Commissioner Dumenil, seconded by Commissioner Wilson, the Board unanimously agreed to execute the letter of support for the grant application for the Small Watershed Grant Planning and Technical Assistance application submitted by the Tower Gardens community Commissioners Yes No Moran x J Wilson x McLaughlin x Dumenil x Corchiarino Absent
HOPE 4 ALL, INC LETTER OF SUPPORT:
On a motion made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Dumenil, the Board unanimously agreed to execute the letter of support for the grant application submitted by Hope 4 All, Inc. for the Whitticoe/Wright Veterans Home Rehabilitation and Restoration Project.
